Teaching pedagogies

The hosts discuss teaching strategies that make student thinking visible, fostering deeper engagement and reflection. They share practical approaches such as KWL charts, think–pair–share, ponder and pour, five W’s and one H, present–future comparisons, “I used to think… now I think,” see–wonder–think–question, alternative uses for objects, role-play interviews, and circles of viewpoints. These methods aim to ignite curiosity, develop critical thinking skills, and create a classroom culture where ideas are openly explored.
